  • I’ve known abakans, but meeting Abakanowicz monumental bronze sculptures like Heads, Mutants was a revelation to me.

    „These forms, which I also refer to a Heads, relate to my fear that to exceed the rate of one’ biological rythm is to lose the ability to meditate. I am apprehensive about the suffering caused by the effects of artificial environment and interminable stress.” M. Abakanowicz
